The Directorate is the apex of a civic structure for a hierarchical society.
The design of this architecture explores how form, layout, and materials can be used to communicate hierarchy, authority, and control at a city scale. All spatial organisation regards the central tower in its orientation, with material contrast : dark structural masses versus gold accents , signalling proximity to power and authority.
The design is built around a radial ring system, where each layer represents a distinct level of function and hierarchy. Circulation is deliberately constrained and directed through controlled routes to create meaningful separation and flow.
The project was developed as a world-building exploration for a personal IP direction, using a system-driven approach to explore how form language and layout can support a cohesive world.
